WITHIN
The Dolls of Kelly Thompson (mc mf ff) (new) by Bob Jowl
–2/5 (so-so, maybe a good story to others but didn’t mesmerize me)–
The writing was generally polished, minus a couple glitches. However, the main character was rather uninteresting from the start and not really likable. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think a character has to be likable, but it can help. Didn’t see much in the way of justification, while I generally skimmed this. A workplace backdrop is kinda touch and go for me, and it certainly didn’t keep my interest here.

Halloween Screams: An Anthology of Sapphic Treats (mc ff) (new) by Madam Kistulot
–3/5 (decent, not perfect)–
A small, almost nitpick right off the bat is how this was thrown up all at once. There are plenty of weeks in October to throw up a halloween anthology! Anyway, definitely plenty of polish. Not everything was to my tastes, but I did like the anthology-esque late night Halloween story feel. As mentioned, there’s a lot to read here, and I unfortunately didn’t have the time to get too deeply into these. Still, while not everything pushed my arousal buttons, the stories themselves were fine. I’m sure I’ll get around to reading these more deeply eventually!

Submission Collar (mc) (new) by Silver Nerd
~~ 3/5 (decent, not perfect)~~
The writing was just fine and vivid, and that helped to make up for any lack of depth. Not too much to say about this one. Not bad overall.

I really do think its best to spread out a multipart story in this context, anthology or no
