WITHIN
Eros Air (mc mf ff) (new) by Ramaset
–2.5/5 (not great, had some redeeming qualities)–
All characters are fictitious? I thought all erotica were cultural studies! Anyway, this starts in a way I generally don’t like: a whining narrator. I’m not saying the story has to start with sunshine and bouncing bunnies, but I need some kind of set up to care about the complaints. The story was very well polished otherwise, though. The premise was different overall, and that always is a plus. However, perhaps out of its longer than usual length or how skydiving holds little interest to me, I just wasn’t particularly pulled into, or rather, down to this one.

Rubberwerks (mc mf ff ft) (1 new chapter) by Lyka Bloom
–4/5 (pretty good, not perfect but enjoyable)–
Still written as a genre piece to a fault: neat notes, to hastily scribed notes, to uncomfortably guy. Seen that too many times! However, while this has yet to provide any real twists or surprises, it’s still well written, and implemented well enough to work. The TFs and heat were fantastic. Is it wrong I’m rooting for Rubberlady Christine here?

Campus Hypnotist (mc mf md) (new) by Hypnotic Whispers
~~2/5 (so-so, maybe a good story to others but didn’t mesmerize me)~~
This did feel a bit cliche at the start. Or at least, there’s nothing new in using hypnotherapy to quit smoking in real life or to use it as an erotic MC medium. Plus every character here seemed two dimensional if that. There was definite polish, and hypno purists may be pleased. However, there was nothing here that particularly mesmerized me.

RANDOM THOUGHTS
And yes, I downgraded to Pages 4.3, or should I say upgraded from 5.0?
