WITHIN
Sexbots In Space: Sensuous Slime (mc ma rb ft) (new)  by LincolnAndSunset
–2/5 (so-so, maybe a good story to others but didn’t mesmerize me)–

Don’t think I ever read any of the Sexbots universe, but the mentioning of “sensuous slime” did peak my interest. I guess the intro/ending at the start would be called 2nd person, while it was regardless an unusual read. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing objectively; it just felt a bit awkward. Didn’t find the sudden shift to third awkward in the slightest (welcome perhaps). However, as others have said, the intro felt rather unnecessary, out of place almost, and the perspective shift made that more apparent for me. Greatly polished, I’ll give this that much. Still, just wasn’t grabbed by anything. Though this may be the start of a larger story, I just had trouble seeing a story here beyond MC tentacles climbing into holes …

Smother’s Day (mc fd) (new)  by Lisa Teez
–2/5 (so-so, maybe a good story to others but didn’t mesmerize me)–

I must admit this felt a bit too blunt to start. “Witchville”? Plus, the author really pounded the whole witch thing a little too hard in the first chunk in my opinion. Yes, we know they are probably witches. On to the story now? Because of that, I found myself not pulled in at all. Well polished at least.

Cinco de Maya (mc mf) (new)  by Lisa Teez
~~2.5/5 (not great, had some redeeming qualities)~~

Polished, while perhaps a bit too conversational for my tastes. Nothing really enticing for me here either. Though it does have it’s narrative twists, it’s still kinda straight forward really. That’s about all I could saw for this one!

OK, fine, I’ve obviously learned to like anal themes, but I’m still not gaga for it!
