WITHIN
Roaming Canvas (mc fd ma ft ex ds) (1 new chapter) by Mr. Scade
–2.5/5 (not great, had some redeeming qualities)–
Still well written with its artsy weirdness, but this chap lacked a lot of the umph of the first two. Seemed almost too random. No intense exhibition of hypnotic art like earlier. Not really into the overt dom/sub themes that appeared either. I guess I’m just finding our Artist a bit too mysterious, unread Breathing Canvas appearance notwithstanding. Getting the impression she just likes to wonder around … With any luck, we’ll get more into her more in the future!

Women’s Lubrication Movement (mc mf ff md ma fd rb ts) (new) by Mudak
–3/5 (decent, not perfect)–
Starts off descent I suppose, but seemingly innocent fondling isn’t particularly new. Plus, a discussion of marital/sexual problems oddly doesn’t pull me in that much. I do rather like an MC goo, I must admit, though. However, the typical application of it (rub on dick instead of anywhere on the woman) was a bit of a turn off.
This made me skim a little. Though more nitpick than negative, splitting this up into a bunch of really tiny “chapters” made the flow feel a bit too regimented, while the Portuguese thing seemed a little unnecessary … Overall, not a bad story, in spite of elements I didn’t like all that much.

The Era of Good Feelings (mc mf md) (new) by Dreamweaver
~~2/5 (so-so, maybe a good story to others but didn’t mesmerize me)~~
Oh, you mean that one time in US history where there was only one major political party, which had no erotic connotations? Anyway, this is fantasy!? Anyway, while polished, I wasn’t a serious fan of the writing style here. As a side note, my doctor has a physician’s assistant (ie American for technically not a doctor, but as good as one) who is quite attractive. My normally low blood pressure is unusually high, no way! … Nothing all that new here, and I wasn’t all the pulled in as a result.

RANDOM COMMENTS
I much prefer Succubi, Vampires, and Witches as antiheroes rather than simply evil beings. I mean, portraying them as pure evil has been done before!
